I have recently established a presence on Substack, a popular new site for high-quality social blogging. This was an experiment that’s working out, and it’s very likely that I’ll shut down this blog and move all of my non-novel activity there. The site isn’t perfect, and could become enshittified as so many sites do. But as I continue to struggle to get book 2 across the finish line while having an intense day job, I need all the help I can get in streamlining my life. Removing my individual author site will eliminate one small class of tasks, in addition to helping me stay current with how people are online today.
